This week, @Biel_Taltavull presented an ongoing project on the development and validation of a real-time PCR assay to identify high-risk P. aeruginosa clones directly from clinical samples. Excellent and highly impactful research! @CIBER_ISCIII @SaludISCIII

In our last article we showed how benzodiazepines (sedatives) attenuate the pathogenicity of P. aeruginosa on lung cells and significantly enhance biofilm formation, which could facilitate the progression of ventilator-associated pneumonia. Check it out! @idisbaib

El Dr @aoliverp73 impartió un seminario sobre secuenciación y predicción de sensibilidad antibiótica en la II Jornada Científica del Comité Español del Antibiograma @SEIMC, en @AEMPSGOB. Se abordaron la implantación de EUCAST en España y la lectura interpretada del antibiograma.
